The Gutenberg Bibles are sometimes called the oldest metal print books. But actually, the oldest such book with movable metal print is the Jikji, published in Korea in 1377.

Jikji is the title of a Korean Buddistdocument and it war prrinted the Koryeo Dynasty era in 1377. it has been confirmed the world's oldest movable metal print book by UNESCO in Sep 2001. However, According to UNESCO, the Jikji had been in the collection ofthe French Embassy officer in 1887. The book passed into the hands of Henri Véver when he died in1950. And then, it was donated to the Bibliothèque Nationale de France. Today only 38 sheets of the second volume of the metal print edition are extant.
